A teenager won a £500 laptop computer for herself and £1,000 for her school with their winning Christmas card design.
Eleanor Miller, 14, of Alec Hunter Humanities College, Braintree, entered the competition run by The Hawthorns retirement complex in Braintree.
Residents chose her nativity scene from entries submitted by pupils at Alec Hunter, Maltings Academy in Witham and Helena Romanes School in Dunmow.
