Festive spirit was alive and well as Coggeshall hosted its annual Christmas fayre.
Hundreds of people lined the streets to enjoy Saturday’s stalls and entertainment.
Father Christmas paraded through the village with the carnival court before welcoming children to his grotto at the village hall in Stoneham Street.
Groups including The Academy theatre group, Chelmsford Morrismen, and Brownies and Rainbows, sang and performed.
Father Christmas was joined by carnival queen Ailicia Andrews for the big Christmas lights switch on in the afternoon.
