Braintree: Cookery school wins national award

A mum who runs a mobile cookery school has won a national award.
Carole Rose, who started Cookies Cookery School in 2003, won the Best Community Engagement prize at the British Cookery School Awards.
Well-known Leiths School of Food and Wine and Nick Nairn Cook School were among entrants in the award categories.
Carole, of Dunmow, works with children’s centres and schools across the Braintree district, Essex and Hertfordshire.
