A navy veteran turned singer-songwriter will be playing an intimate living room show on Wednesday evening.
Drew Nelson, from Michigan, USA, describes himself as a fly fisherman and world traveller.
His songwriting is a result of the people he has encountered and the experiences he has had on his travels, with his musical style mixing Americana and roots-rock with traditional folk styles.
His passion for music has taken another form in recent years, as Drew manufactures guitars in the basement of his Michigan home.
He plays a house concert in Kelvedon on Wednesday. To reserve a place and get details of the venue, email james@liveattheinstitute.co.uk
Drew is also playing at the Sun Inn, High Street, Dedham, on Thursday at 9pm. Tickets are £10 on the door.
