Braintree: Residents want to buy farm

Dorewards Hall farm
Residents are clubbing together in a bid to buy an historic farm to preserve it from potential development.
Dorewards Hall Farm in Bocking is on the market for a guide price of £2.1million, including a Grade II listed farmhouse divided into two homes, farm buildings and 210 acres of farmland.
Although it is not being marketed for redevelopment, residents are worried it could be developed in the future.
They have set up a community interest company to buy the farm and residents have been pledging money to raise the asking price.

I feel sorry for the people near this farm, they have probably lived the last 10 years worried about the land near them, why should we have to live in fear of new developments....I went to Braintree today and didn't hear one English accent, does that tell you something!
