Braintree: Quad biker airlifted to hospital

A quad biker was airlifted to hospital after colliding with a tree.
The man in his 20s was taken to Colchester General Hospital with a leg injury after the collision at 11.25 yesterday morning.
Paramedics were called to the collision, in Whitehouse Road, Stebbing, along with the Ambulance Hazardous Response Team and the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
EEAST spokesman Gary Sanderson said: "The man who we believe to be in his 20s received an injury to his leg and following treatment and stabilisation by land and air ambulance crews, he was flown to Colchester General Hospital for further care."
