A MAN has lost his foot after a horrific fireworks accident.

The man, aged in his 60s, had been at a private party when it is believed one of the fireworks exploded before it was meant to. 

He was taken to Addenbrooks Hospital in Cambridge.

Another man was taken to Broomfield Hospital.

Has the time come when we stop selling these "cheap made in China" fireworks. They have proved to be unreliable and I believe were never intended to be sold to the general public for back garden displays..

Further what has Braintree District Council done to stop the FLY posting around the sale of these fireworks every where you drive around in the district you see these posters on tress and sign posts.
