Braintree district: Find a fireworks display near you this week

Celebrate Guy Fawkes Night in style with a fireworks display. Here is our rundown of events taking place this week:
The Witham Round Table Fireworks Display is taking place at a new, bigger venue this year.
The display takes place at Witham Rugby Club, in Spa Road, on Saturday. Gates open at 5pm, there is a bonfire from 6.30pm and the fireworks start at 7.30pm.
Pre-sale tickets are £3 for adults and £2 for children, or you can buy tickets on the gate costing £5 for adults and £3 for children.

The annual display at Braintree Rugby Club takes place on Monday night.
Doors open at 5.30pm, with a bonfire from 7.45pm and fireworks starting at 8pm.
Entrance is £6 for adults and £4 for concessions.
As well as the fireworks, there will be live music, a fun fair, a barbecue and an outside bar.
A family fireworks display takes place at The Swan pub, The Street, Rayne, tomorrow evening.
Gates open at 5.30pm, with fireworks starting at 6.45pm. Entry is £4 for adults and £3 for children, with money being raised for St John Ambulance.
There will be a firework display, bonfire and sideshows and more at Gosfield School, Cut Hedge Park, Gosfield on Saturday.

Coggeshall’s fireworks will be taking place at St Peter’s School, Myneer Park, on November 10.
Gates open at 6pm and fireworks start at 6.45pm, with a barbecue and refreshments on offer.
Entrance is £5 for adults, £3 for children or £12 for a family ticket.
Have fun with Hawkes at a daytime event at George Yard Shopping Centre in Braintree on Saturday.
Visit the centre between 10am and 3pm to find the gun powder signs and win prizes.
