Witham: Three charged following stabbing

Three men are due to appear in court next month after being charged following a stabbing in Witham.

The attack happened shortly before 7am on Saturday, September 15 when a 20-year-old Maldon man suffered a puncture wound to his bottom during an altercation on Laurence Avenue.

He was conveyed to Broomfield Hospital by paramedics, treated and discharged.

Today  three men were charged.

Two 19-year-old men and an 18-year-old man, all from Witham,  have each been charged  with one count of causing grievous bodily harm with Intent.

All three men have been released on police bail prior to their appearances at Colchester Magistrates Court on Tuesday, November 20.
