Ghouls and creepy clowns put the frighteners on children and adults alike as The Cursed returned for another year of freaky fun.

The medieval barns of Cressing Temple were the perfect setting for the spooky mazes haunted by 50 scary spectres such as Ethel, Lucifer and some distinctly unfriendly clowns.

An asylum, the UK’s longest squeeze tunnel - which shrinks as people walk through - and the haunted Haverstock Manor added to the chill factor.

About 1,000 people are expected to walk through the doors on each of the four nights.

This year’s The Cursed ends tomorrow night.
