Braintree: Government to review investment in major roads

Two major roads are among the first in line for government cash.

A review of the A12 throughout Essex and the A120 between Colchester and Harwich will be carried out by early next year to see what investment is needed.

But the A120 between Braintree and Marks Tey is not on the list.

Transport minister Norman Baker made the announcement during a debate in Parliament’s Westminster Hall by Essex MPs concerned about transport issues across the county.
