A STUDENT has died in a freak accident on holiday.

Twenty-year-old Mark Day, believed to be from Braintree, plunged to his death while on holiday with friends from the University of Essex in Magaluf last night.

It is thought he lost a game of cards and was dared to strip to his underwear and run down a hotel corridor.

But it is believed he lost his balance at the end of the corridor and fell through a fifth-floor window to his death.

Anyone who would like to pay tribute to Mr Day can leave their messages here.

Was staying at the hotel at the time of the incident. Very sad to see, ambulance and police did best they could. Sad that even after such a tradegy people were still acting like maniacs and letting fireworks off in corridors at 4am.
