I was so shocked and saddened when James told me the news. I knew Alan for such a long time. My heartfelt wishes go out to his Mum, Shane and Leanne. I lost my Alan so recently but it can't compare to the loss of your son.

Alan was a very good friend of mine at Chapel Hill Primary School and I was shocked and saddened to hear the news. He had a brilliant sense of humour and was always great to have a laugh and share a joke with. Alan will be greatly missed.
