Such sad news. I went to school with Alan and he was a kind decent person and didn't deserve to have his life taken away like this. My deepest symphathy's are with his mum, brother, sister and the rest of his family. RIP xx

I was so shocked and saddened when James told me the news. I knew Alan for such a long time. My heartfelt wishes go out to his Mum, Shane and Leanne. I lost my Alan so recently but it can't compare to the loss of your son.

Alan was a very good friend of mine at Chapel Hill Primary School and I was shocked and saddened to hear the news. He had a brilliant sense of humour and was always great to have a laugh and share a joke with. Alan will be greatly missed.
