Bocking neighbourhood policing team

Insp Paul Davey

I have been a police officer with Essex Police for over 28 years. From March 1, 2012 I have responsibility for the Braintree, Halstead and Witham areas. I live in the district and understand local issues. I served as a constable and as a sergeant in Braintree and Halstead in the mid 80s and 90s. You will find my team and I active in tackling your concerns and you will see me out and about in the community as much as possible. I will ensure a firm line is taken against anti-social behaviour of any kind.

Sgt Dave Wright

I have been a police officer for 22 years, 18 of which has been as a Sergeant. During my service, I have worked mainly in uniform, carrying out response and community aspects of policing. I have now taken over as the Neighbourhood Policing Team Sergeant for Braintree, Witham and Halstead, which I have previous experience working in these area's as the community/ neighbourhood policing Sergeant. I am fortunate to have a good team of officers and PCSO staff, that feel as passionate as I do about the service we provide.

Pc James Draper

I am the Neighbourhood Constable for Bocking and am based at Braintree Police Station. I have been a police officer since 2004 and started my career in Pitsea, Basildon before moving to Braintree. I have been working as a Neighbourhood Officer for four years and look forward to working with the community.

PCSO Claire Aherne

I have worked with Essex Police since 2003. I was one of the first PCSO's in Essex, previously working in Loughton. I am now a familiar face in Bocking, Braintree where I have been for the last four years.
I always look forward to meeting members of the community and try and help them wherever possible.
