Gary Barlow has joked that Robbie Williams' baby may soon pick up a few swear words
Gary Barlow has said that becoming a father "will be the making" of his friend and bandmate Robbie Williams.
In an interview with Hello! magazine, father-of-three Gary was asked if he had any tips for his Take That colleague and replied: "Yes, I told him not to do it!"
He added: "No, Rob will be a great dad, he'll be a lot of fun and it'll be the making of him, because having kids is the making of people, I think.
"Although the child will probably be swearing by the time he's three!"
Despite Gary using the word "he" to describe the baby, it has previously been reported that Robbie and wife Ayda are expecting a little girl.
The 41-year-old X Factor judge also spoke of his excitement about the Queen's Diamond Jubilee concert outside Buckingham Palace on June 4 - saying that helping to organise it had been "a dream". He told the magazine: "I'm a punter when it comes to music and I genuinely love every act we've got on.
"They're gearing up and getting very excited - the Queen is really looking forward to the whole weekend."
Gary is performing himself, as is Robbie. Music legends Stevie Wonder, Sir Elton John, Sir Paul McCartney and Dame Shirley Bassey will be taking to the specially-constructed stage, with other acts including JLS, Jessie J and Ed Sheeran.
The Take That frontman is the cover star of this week's edition of Hello!, which has been described as the "world's first true 3D magazine cover". The effect was achieved by photographing Gary from all angles, a technique called "sculptural photography".
