At the October meeting, Ann Wood gave a comprehensive history of book-binding.
A quiz will be held on November 22 in Faulkbourne village hall. Tickets will be £3, inclusive of light refreshments.
The Christmas dinner on December 11 will be held at the Hare and Hounds, High Garrett.
The competition for a brown item beginning with S was won by Cathie Clarke with a spoke shave, Sue Heslop was second and Margaret Smith third.
The annual meeting will be held on November 6, at 7.15pm in White Notley village hall.
The meeting will be followed by a travel talk by Dudley Chignal.
