President Joan Cummins welcomed members and guests to the 85th anniversary dinner in the village hall.
Elaine Barker entertained members with songs and monologues, and a celebratory cake was enjoyed.
The minutes of the first meeting in October 1923 were displayed. Joan read out the cards of congratulations.
Julie Alen gave a short speech, Lucy Marrable, Colne Engaine president, gave a vote of thanks on behalf of the guests, and the evening ended with a raffle.
