David Barker, from the Elim Church, Chelmsford, was the preacher on Sunday morning.
Dave and Ann Smith read Old and New Testament readings.
The 4pm communion service was led by Geoffrey Green.
During the week the Spring and Sing had its Christmas meal at the Dog and Partridge, and the Open Home/Open Bible study was in the home of Mr and Mrs Green.
All offerings on Sunday were for the World Vision appeal for relief in Congo and the quiz evening raised £167 for World Vision commitment.
On Saturday, the Christmas sale is at 2pm in aid of charities, and on Sunday worship is at 10.45am.
