The society welcomed Jerry and Mary Ring for the second meeting of the season.

Under the title Give and Take, Jerry introduced a selection of songs and jazz themes, mostly from the 1950s.

The second half commenced with the song Stardust by Nat King Cole.

Members then listened to the film theme Battle of Britain, played by Ron Goodwin and his orchestra, and the evening concluded with music by Binge, Sailing by, the Watermill and, appropriately, Going Home.

The next meeting will be held on Saturday.
