Lois Kelly, of 1st Braintree Guides, spoke to Braintree Rotarians after her return from the Camporee held at Treasure Island, San Francisco.
Her presentation covered her ten-day service project, in which she undertook conservation and craft activities within the Golden Gate National Park. She thanked the club for its sponsorship.
Bernie Everitt reported that 18 members, partners and friends enjoyed the Brian Rowley Memorial Walk in Norfolk.
He thanked all those who attended the presentation of a bench to the trustees of Bocking Public Gardens, in memory of Mr Rowley, on September 20.
