At the September meeting, members enjoyed Romance of the Seasons by Patricia Bolton, of Benfleet.
Members were invited to enter the quiz on November 22.
At the next meeting at the village hall on Tuesday, Maureen Burrows will be demonstrating, and there will be a harvest-themed bring-and-buy.
