    A cancer sufferer living in the Braintree district was wrongly told his disease was inoperable. The man, named Mr R in a report by the Parliamentary and Health Ombudsman into healthcare failings under the NHS, was diagnosed with terminal cancer

    A Mini was left in a pond after leaving the road during a traffic collision in Colne Road, Coggeshall. At least two vehicles collided near Blackwells Farm Shop just before 3pm today. Butcher Luke Smy witnessed the aftermath of the incident.
