ANGELO Harrop insists his high-flying Braintree Town side must embrace any pressure on their shoulders ahead of their big home clash with leaders Yeovil Town this weekend.

The Iron lie third in the National League South table and are unbeaten in 14 matches, heading into their game against the Glovers at the Rare Breed Meat Co Stadium.

Braintree extended their long unbeaten run on Tuesday night with a 0-0 home draw against Weymouth.

Harrop told the Braintree Town YouTube channel: "It's a big, big game on Saturday.

"There should be pressure on our team; we're in a really good position and we've got to enjoy that pressure.

"There's pressure on my shoulders, the players' shoulders and we've got to embrace that.

"Going back to the Chelmsford home game when this place was packed out, we need to learn from those experiences - it's the time to turn it on and really embrace it.

"It's a big game and the crowd will be fully behind us.

"They were unbelievable (against Weymouth) and I'm sure there was a good attendance.

"It seemed like it was busy, so we're going to need that support on Saturday because we're playing a very, very good side.

"But it's one I'll look forward to, it's a challenge, they're a full-time side but we'll be excitable on Saturday and I'm really positive that we'll get a good outcome.

"We're in a good position, we need to be positive, we need the crowd to be fully behind us on Saturday and we go again."
